First page of Google!!!
Local results for goods or services first include paid ads, but even before the top 10 “organic results” is the Google Maps “3-Pack” of top business profiles for the city or state or other geographic terms typed in. For example, click this link to see the results:

Compete with Review Sites & Directories
It can be extremely difficult to rank on first page of google due to local competition, review sites (Angi, HomeAdvisor, Yelp, etc), professional directories and large national brands that can pay for expensive SEO campaigns.
After we enter your basic business info, including address, phone, website and description, you can increase your exposure with each additional client review that you receive. Notice the gold stars in below screenshot of results.
You will receive an email notification each time a review is entered and you should then “reply” to it by simply logging in to your GMB profile at https://business.google.com.
Add a Reply
If it is a brief review, be brief with a quick “Thank you for your comments!” and if it is longer, then feel free to go into more detail. This demonstrates your interaction with customers which will boost your standing. If you receive a bad review, this is your opportunity to respond. If it was a miscommunication, address it and offer to fix the issue. Then you can actually prompt the individual to change it to a good testimonial!
Request reviews from happy customers by emailing them with a link to your Reviews page, where I will have direct Google Review link for them to easily click on. See my client reviews page as an example.
