SEO: Write Articles for Exposure
Writing articles can increase site traffic in two ways.
Relevant and well-written articles can drive a significant number of visitors to your web site by including your URL in the byline. Articles can be 500 to 2,000 words in length and sent to to sites including ArticleDashboard.com, Article City, Go Articles and AcmeArticles.com.
Besides interested parties clicking your link for more information, simply the fact that your link is posted on any site taking the article means better Page Rank in Google and others. To try it out, create your free account at any of the above. Don't forget to place a link to your website both in your "Author Profile" area and in your "About the author" section at the bottom of each article that you submit!
For extra value, change the title and text slightly and post the same article to your blog or News page of your site.

Web Terms
"Domain" is your website address, such as "attractweb.com". Also known as URL, it should closely resemble your company name. You'll get better search engine rank if it includes an important keyword that people would type into search engines. It's nice to have a short web address, but the trend has been to longer ones to incoporate more valuable keywords. |

Start a free trial of either iContact (which I use), ConstantContact or Vertical Response. I've compared them all and pricing depends on size of your email list and can start for less than $10/month. For lists under 500, Vertical Response can be the best bargain. Each of the different providers has many template choices to choose from and once you set it up (including your logo), you can just copy and paste new text (and photos!) with each issue.

Video on Your Website
Anyone can bring their site to life by including video or a link to one. I can help you install it directly onto your Home or About page or we can import it from YouTube. You can open a free account there and upload as many videos as you like. Then, it's less expensive for me to simply copy their "embed" code wherever you like on your site.
You can take the video with a simple digital camera or I can have my photographer friend shoot it for you. Check out this one I just added recently at Juglugger.com.
Super Prices on Domain Names
Because domains are not expensive, it can be worthwhile to purchase several including .com and .net versions and abbreviated ones to use for email accounts. Network Solutions and Register.com charge as much as $35/year, but Webmaster Ray has become affiliated with GoDaddy to offer prices even lower than GoDaddy itself!!
